Hi, I'm Beth. I am a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese medicine.

I fell in love with acupuncture rather haphazardly after a snowboarding accident.  My first visit brought relief to my shoulder, but I also felt a big shift in my stress levels.  That encounter led me back to acupuncture on and off over many years in particular to help my mood and feel more balanced until my journey to create a family brought acupuncture more front and center. It was through this experience that I found my way to a career in modern Chinese medicine.

I received a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College and have been blessed to train and study with some of the leading practitioners in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

After treating over 500 patients, suffering from pain, side effects of cancer treatments, mental disorders,  infertility, pregnancy side effects, migraines, insomnia, and many internal medicine diseases, I am still amazed everyday at just how powerful these treatments can be.  I'm a fairly straight-forward, tell-it-like-it-is personality.  I don't like to promote something I'm not 100% on.  I believe in an integrative and patient-centered approach to medicine, respecting what both western and eastern practices offer and how often we benefit much more when they are working together.

I continue to study the benefits of acupuncture for mental health and I have a great affinity for what acupuncture and herbs can do to relieve the stresses of everyday life that can build and lead to anxiety, depression, insomnia and other health issues.  For many, hitting the pause button on life is not a reality.  But a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly acupuncture treatment is and the effects can be truly life-changing.

My path to becoming a mother of four kiddos has given me a greater understanding of the support women could use during all stages of their pregnancies, from conception to postpartum care. I love working with women (and their husbands!) on their journey to motherhood using herbs and acupuncture for fertility, whether that be providing care and support to prepare for a natural conception or through the process of Assisted Reproductive Technology.

I have experience working with expectant moms through the various ups and downs of morning sickness, heartburn, fatigue, back aches, and labor prep.  My own postpartum struggles have given me a true appreciation for what acupuncture can do to support new moms and help restore the body and mind's balance and strength.

I look forward to working with you!
